About
The Listening Room was founded in 2012 by Dr. Naomi Adler after a decade in hospital family services. We work with married couples who love each other but keep having the same fight. Sessions are structured, warm, and practical: you leave each one with a specific skill to try before the next. Most couples come for eight to twelve sessions and return once a year for a short tune-up together.
Fifty-minute sessions built around the one pattern you keep getting stuck in. You will practice repair in the room, take home a single skill each week, and get a short email check-in between visits.
Twelve hours across a Friday and Saturday for couples who need momentum. We map your cycle, work through the two or three stuck conversations, and leave you with a written plan for the next 90 days.
Six sessions covering money, family, faith, intimacy, and how you fight. Includes a PREPARE/ENRICH assessment and a keepsake summary of your promises. Many churches accept it as premarital counseling.
A three-hour interactive workshop for eight to forty couples. Practical, funny, and no role play in front of the room. Hosted at your venue or ours, with a follow-up worksheet couples can use at home.

$185 per 50-minute session. Intensives from $2,400. Six-session premarital package, $960. · Insurance: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia, Cigna, Out-of-network superbills provided · Self-pay available · Sliding scale available · We hold six reduced-fee places for teachers, clergy, and first responders, offered on request. Cards, HSA and FSA are accepted, and superbills are provided. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are billed at half the fee.
